Early voting for the November 3 general election begins Monday, October 19, in Palm Beach County. Voters can cast a ballot at any of the 28 early voting locations, which will be open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. through Sunday, November 1, according to the office of Elections Supervisor Wendy Sartory-Link.

Wait times and site details are posted at VotePalmBeach.gov, where voters can also reserve a specific check-in time. The appointment program is optional, but elections officials say it can help people avoid long lines.

Voters must bring a current, valid photo and signature ID. A list of accepted IDs is on the county website.

Vote-by-mail voters can drop off completed ballots at any early voting location during those hours. Mailed ballots must reach the main elections office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, or by 5:00 p.m. at a branch office or secure ballot intake station. The deadline to request a mail ballot is Thursday, October 22, at 5:00 p.m.

The deadline to register to vote has already passed. It was Monday, October 5.
