One person hurt in Pompano Beach shooting, BSO says

A person was shot and wounded in Pompano Beach on Thursday night, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they were called to a shooting just after 8 p.m. near the 200 block of Northwest 31st Avenue. When they arrived, they found a person with a “superficial” wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital. The Sheriff’s Office has not released the person’s name.
