The Marjory Stoneman Douglas girls volleyball team finished its regular season 12-8 after a busy final week that included the Big Eight Tournament, a win over Coral Glades and a Senior Night victory.

The Eagles entered the tournament, which featured the top eight teams in Broward County, as the seventh seed. They lost to Cypress Bay High School in the opening round, the second time this season they fell to the Cavaliers. MSD bounced back with a 25-10, 25-11, 25-15 win over South Plantation High School on Thursday.

Earlier in the week, the Eagles lost to St. Thomas Aquinas High School before beating Coral Glades on Tuesday in three sets, 25-19, 26-24, 25-18. On Wednesday, they hosted Charles W. Flanagan High School for Senior Night, honoring seniors Grace Pulsifer and Mia Espino. MSD then won in four sets.

The Eagles will next compete in the District Tournament. They reached the district final a year ago.
