Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies found Vilma Sanabria, 65, dead Friday night in the 1700 block of Southwest 70th Way in North Lauderdale, close to where she was last seen around 5 a.m. Monday.
The BSO Missing Persons Unit had issued a missing person alert for Sanabria hours before she was found. Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances of her death, but investigators said they do not currently suspect criminal involvement.
The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death.
