A 22-year-old Miramar man was arrested Oct. 15 after allegedly smearing cat feces on a Coconut Creek home and causing about $12,000 in damage, according to a Coconut Creek Police Department arrest report.
Bounnda Jeffry Phillippeaux was charged with battery and criminal mischief. The affidavit says he and a woman were arguing and damaging each other’s belongings. The woman told police that Phillippeaux pushed her against a wall during the fight.
She said Phillippeaux gathered some of his things and left, and that she locked the door behind him. When he tried to put on his shoes, he found cat feces inside them and became angry, she told officers. She said she then heard rocks hit the living room window and saw him smear the feces on the front door and kick it.
The affidavit says the impact cracked the front door glass, and the living room window was also damaged. The report estimates the total damage at more than $12,000.
Police arrested Phillippeaux nearby and took him to the Broward County Main Jail.
