The City of Miramar is gearing up for its Food & Wine Festival, set for Friday, Oct. 23, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the lake by City Hall, 2300 Civic Center Place.
The evening will feature food, beverages and a lively cultural atmosphere, and the city said Commissioner Maxwell Chambers will take part. Admission and parking are free.
Organizers are asking attendees to consider a $10 donation to Lovedrop, a group that helps Miramar residents in need with utility bills.
People who plan to attend can register through the festival’s Eventbrite page, which the city lists as MiramarFoodandWine.eventbrite.com.
