Marjory Stoneman Douglas football plays two games in four days

The Eagles lost to South Broward and Fort Lauderdale in a busy stretch, and their Senior Night game against Forest Hill is set for Oct. 15.

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas football team played two games in four days after its Week 6 matchup was postponed. The Eagles first lost 39-6 to South Broward High School, despite a touchdown from Anthony Diaz. Jakari Adderly forced and recovered a fumble, and Max Troy intercepted a pass.

MSD returned to the field Thursday against Fort Lauderdale High School. Diaz scored again, but the Eagles lost 27-7. The result dropped the team to 1-6 for the season.

The Eagles host Forest Hill High School on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m. in a Senior Night game. Forest Hill plays J.P. Taravella on Friday, Oct. 10, before facing MSD. The Eagles close their season against the Trojans.
