A Margate man was arrested on Oct. 7 after he allegedly masturbated and made sexual comments toward an employee at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital, according to Margate Police Department arrest records.
Storm Octavious Tillman, 37, was lying in a hospital bed when officers were called to the facility at about 2 a.m. An employee told investigators she was sitting outside an examination room when Tillman began grunting and commented on her appearance. He allegedly told her he wanted to take her home.
According to the arrest affidavit, the employee first tried to ignore him by looking at her phone. When she looked up, she said she saw him masturbating under a hospital blanket while staring at her and laughing. She told police she could see the outline of his genitals and his hands moving beneath the cover.
Tillman then got up and walked into a nearby bathroom, where the employee said she heard moaning, a toilet flushing and running water. She told investigators she felt disgusted and avoided him afterward. She alerted the hospital’s charge nurse.
Police took Tillman into custody and booked him into the Broward County Main Jail. His bond was listed at $150.
