The Historical Society of Palm Beach County has named its 2026-2027 Young Friends Steering Committee, a group of emerging leaders ages 21 to 45 who will help support the Society’s educational programs and recruit the next generation of donors and volunteers. The announcement was made Oct. 12.
Collin Adams, of Paul Labrecque Salon & Spa Palm Beach, chairs the committee. Rachel Tessoff, of Sotheby’s International Realty, is vice chair. Both have long supported the Society’s Young Friends program.
Members get behind-the-scenes access to the museum, archives and collections, and take part in tours of historic places. The season opened at the Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach, where members toured the property and ate at Café Boulud Palm Beach.
Upcoming events include three Cocktails in Paradise gatherings. One includes an after-hours visit to Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, and another is a walking tour of one of Palm Beach’s best-known streets led by historian Rick Rose. The committee will also help run Evening on Antique Row, the group’s signature fundraiser, now in its 32nd year. The event is 21 and older and draws more than 2,000 people. Tickets are sold at pbchistory.org/events.
