Boca Raton Fire Rescue sent multiple trucks to the CVS at 2901 Clint Moore Road, at the Jog Road intersection, around 9:45 a.m. Monday after reports of smoke-like haze inside the store. The building is next to a busy McDonald’s.

Crews found no fire. Officials believe the haze came from an air conditioning unit behind the CVS building that may be faulty or burning, according to the news report. No injuries were reported.

As of 10:20 a.m., fire rescue crews were still working on the situation at the site. The report did not say when the store would reopen.

Shoppers who planned to stop at the pharmacy this morning may want to wait a few hours before heading there.
