A free fall festival with a Halloween theme is coming to Las Olas Oceanside Park in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, Oct. 24. The Pumpkins & Palm Trees Fall Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park, known locally as LOOP, at 3000 E. Las Olas Blvd.

Entry is free. Organizers are offering entertainment, pumpkin-themed and Halloween photo spots, and vendors. Attendees are invited to wear their Halloween costumes, and the event includes trick-or-treating.

Some activities carry a fee, and wristbands for those are sold online and at the event. Parking in the beach area is usually $4 an hour, according to the event listing, including at the Las Olas Beach parking garage at 200 SW 1st Avenue.

For families looking for a daytime outing before Halloween, the festival offers a beachside option with most of its activities at no charge.
