Tamarac residents can get free advanced health screenings from Care Access on Friday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd. The city said the screenings cost nothing to attend.
The screenings may include cholesterol, blood sugar and A1C, kidney and liver function, lung function and inflammation markers, among other tests. The city’s post did not say whether appointments are required or whether residents must bring anything.
The event gives residents a chance to check several markers of their health in one visit, at no charge, close to home.
