Drivers on Federal Highway in Boca Raton should expect lane reductions for about 10 weeks, beginning Monday, Oct. 19. The closures are part of a Florida Department of Transportation road project along US 1.
In both directions, traffic will be reduced to one lane from SE 5th Street/SE Mizner Boulevard to NE 8th Street/Mizner Boulevard. The lane restriction runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow crews to work on median roadway operations.
The City of Boca Raton posted the schedule on its Instagram account and directed residents to its road closures page on the city website for more information on the project.
