The Federal Aviation Administration has extended flight restrictions around Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach home of former President Donald Trump, for one year.
The Secret Service asked for the restrictions, citing presidential security. The no-fly zone covers a one-nautical-mile radius around the estate and applies 24 hours a day, including when Trump is not there.
Residents have complained that the restrictions have pushed planes to lower altitudes, which has increased noise in some neighborhoods. The FAA said the restrictions were put in place lawfully.
