South Florida gets a drier, more comfortable stretch starting tonight, according to Local 10 News. Forecasters expect only a few light showers drifting in from the Atlantic through the early part of the week, with Tuesday mostly dry and highs in the middle 80s.

Humidity drops further overnight and into Wednesday, when morning lows could fall close to the upper 60s. The rain chance is about 20% for the next couple of days.

The pattern changes Thursday. A stronger breeze off the Atlantic will bring batches of rain that move through at times, and the showers are expected to continue on and off into the weekend.

Forecasters are also watching for king tides this weekend into early next week. Those high tides could bring moderate coastal flooding, so residents near the water should keep an eye on conditions.
