The Delray Zombies are back in Delray Beach this October, with their flash mob performances set to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” scheduled between Oct. 15 and 31.
The group, a local team of dancers, performs its practiced choreography at public markets, street festivals, libraries and nightlife venues around the city. The performances are staged as spooky, creeping and crawling routines that appear without much warning, so residents who come across them in public spaces can expect a surprise.
The listing did not include specific dates, times or locations for each performance. Readers who want to catch a show can follow the group’s social media accounts for updates on where it will appear.
For families and Halloween fans in Palm Beach County, the performances offer a free, low-key way to enjoy the season downtown and at local gathering spots during the final weeks of October.
