The City of Deerfield Beach is hosting a free fall festival at Pioneer Park on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. The city said the event at 217 NE 5th Avenue will include a pumpkin patch, trunk-or-treat, live music, archery and kids activities, fall crafts, artisan vendors, food and a biergarten.
Parking at the park is limited, so the city is running a free shuttle from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. Shuttles will loop continuously between the festival and two lots: the Braithwaite Center for Active Aging at 325 NW 2nd Avenue, and an overflow lot at the corner of Eller Street and NW 2nd Street, the former water plant site.
Admission is free. Families planning to attend should leave early enough to catch a shuttle, especially at the start of the evening when the event opens.
