The Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department will host its annual Cancer Awareness Pasta Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Fire Station 80, 2825 Coral Springs Drive. The community dinner runs from 5 to 9 p.m.
Guests pay an $8 donation for pasta with meatballs, bread and a drink. All proceeds go to the Coral Springs Professional Firefighters Benevolent Association.
Firefighters, volunteers and association members will set up the station as a family-style dining hall. Visitors can meet first responders, tour fire apparatus and learn about the department’s cancer awareness work.
Tickets are available online through the city’s link, and organizers will also sell them at the door.
