Coral Springs residents can meet the candidates seeking to lead the city at a free, nonpartisan forum Sunday, Oct. 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Chabad Jewish Center, 11325 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Each candidate will get equal time to introduce himself or herself. Rabbi Yankie Denburg will then moderate a question-and-answer session with the community. The forum is open to the public, and organizers ask attendees to register in advance so they can prepare.
The registration form also lets residents submit questions or suggest topics for candidates to address. Audience members will not be able to ask questions live.
People who cannot attend in person can watch the forum live on Denburg’s Facebook page and the Chabad’s YouTube channel.
With the city’s election approaching, the event gives voters a chance to hear directly from the candidates and to push for answers on issues that matter to their neighborhoods.
