A cold front will bring scattered rain and storms to South Florida on Saturday, with coverage forecast at 60%, according to WPBF 25 News. Periods of heavy rainfall could cause flooding, and winds will be breezy with sustained speeds near 15 mph.

Rain is expected to continue overnight into Sunday morning. Forecasters said both the American and European weather models show rain ending after about 8 a.m. Sunday. Winds will strengthen during that time, with sustained speeds of 20 to 25 mph and gusts above 30 mph, possibly reaching 35 mph.

Winds are expected to ease to 15 to 20 mph on Monday, with isolated showers at 30% coverage. The rest of the week should stay dry, with highs cooling into the lower to mid 80s.

Before the front arrives, Friday brings highs in the upper 80s and low 90s, with feels-like temperatures in the 100s. Scattered storms with 50% coverage are possible Friday afternoon and into the early evening.
