The City of Coconut Creek will host a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Veterans Park, 3550 Lyons Road. The event is free and open to all ages.
The city said the ceremony will honor men and women who have served the country and protected its freedom. Guest speakers will address attendees, and the Coconut Creek Police Department Honor Guard and Monarch High Junior R.O.T.C. will take part.
If weather is bad, the ceremony will move indoors to the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
