Coconut Creek’s Parks and Recreation Department is inviting runners of all paces and experience levels to join the Creek Run Society’s Monday Evening Open Run this fall. The group meets Mondays from Oct. 19 through Nov. 23, from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m., at Sabal Pines Park, 5005 NW 39th Avenue.

Registration costs $20 for Coconut Creek residents and $30 for non-residents. The run is open to adults 18 and older. Ages 12 to 17 may take part when a parent or legal guardian is also registered.

Space is limited to 32 participants. Residents can sign up through CoconutCreek.gov/WebTrac. People with questions can call 954-545-6670 or visit CoconutCreek.gov/Recreation.

For a group that runs weekly through the fall, the 32-spot cap means registering early is the safest bet.
