The City of Hollywood is inviting teams to build and race cardboard boats at Hollywood Marina on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is at 700 Polk St.
Teams will design and construct their own cardboard vessel, choose a team name and theme, and race across the water for a trophy. Pre-registration is required.
Residents who want more information can send the city a direct message on Instagram with the words “Boat Race.”
