Broward County is changing park hours this weekend as daylight saving time ends. Starting Sunday, Nov. 1, the county’s regional parks will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

The change applies to Brian Piccolo, C.B. Smith, Central Broward, Easterlin, Markham, Miramar Pineland, Plantation Heritage, Quiet Waters, Tradewinds, Tree Tops, T.Y., Vista View and West Lake parks, as well as the Anne Kolb park. Broward County Parks said the earlier sunsets are the reason for the shift.

Fern Forest, Long Key and Secret Woods parks will keep their regular hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Neighborhood parks, natural areas and specialty parks will not change.

Residents should also remember to set their clocks back one hour before Sunday.
