A permanent public artwork called Bent Pool, by the artist duo Elmgreen and Dragset, is on view in Pride Park at 1809 Meridian Avenue in Miami Beach. The city said the piece reworks a familiar Miami Beach icon, a swimming pool, into something visitors are meant to stop and look at twice.
The installation is part of the city’s Art in Public Places collection. City officials describe the program as a way to bring creativity, curiosity and culture to residents and visitors.
The artwork is free to see at any time the park is open. The city directs people to its website, linked from its Instagram bio, for a list of other free public art across the city.
