Limited Fanfare, the independent South Florida record label founded by Brian Kurtz in 2011, is marking its 15th anniversary with a concert Saturday night at Las Rosas in Miami. The show starts at 8 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the venue, 2898 NW 7th Avenue.

Five acts are on the bill: Palomino Blond, Sunday Driver, Smelter, Heavy Drag and The Personal Demons. Tickets cost $20.22 through ticketweb.com.

Kurtz, who managed bands for 15 years before starting the label, said Limited Fanfare has now put out more than 60 releases. He described the label’s role as a selector rather than a gatekeeper, passing along music that friends and artists bring to him.

Kurtz said he sees the lineup as a kind of time capsule of the local scene. He pointed to newer bands such as Palomino Blond and Smelter as being shaped by earlier groups like Heavy Drag, while Sunday Driver dates back to 1999.

Fans can buy limited releases at the show. Items include a cassette of the 25th anniversary edition of Sunday Driver’s Third Place Prize, a screen-printed event poster by Chuck Loose, and graded vinyl, cassettes and CDs from the bands on the bill.
