Miramar State of the City address set for Oct. 29 at Universal Technical Institute

Miramar's State of the City address with Mayor Wayne Messam is set for Thursday, Oct. 29, and residents must register online.

Miramar will hold its State of the City address on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Universal Technical Institute, 2601 SW 145th Ave. The event is hosted by Mayor Wayne Messam.

The city asks attendees to register in advance at MiramarSOTC2026.eventbrite.com, a link the city posted in its Instagram bio.

The city also said free public Wi-Fi has been added at nine parks and recreation sites. They are Civic Center Park, East Miramar Aquatic Complex, Fairway Park, Flamingo Estates (Trilogy) Park, Monarch Lakes Park, River Run Park, Silver Lakes Sports Complex, Sunset Lakes Park and The Vernon H. Hargray Youth Enrichment Center.
