The Palmetto Bay Business Association held its networking luncheon on Nov. 5 at Coral Reef Recreation Center. The featured speaker was Manny Cid of Miami-Dade County’s Strategic Procurement Department.
Cid has a background in public service, economic development and business ownership, according to the association’s announcement. The group said that experience gives him a view tied closely to the needs of local entrepreneurs.
The event gave members a chance to build relationships with county leaders who work on small and local business development. Organizers said the goal was to keep South Dade’s business community informed and engaged.
