A man wanted in a fatal West Boca Raton crash two years ago is back in Palm Beach County and in custody, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.

Kyrylo Khytrov, 42, was extradited from Turkey on Thursday. Deputies from the sheriff’s TAC unit and the U.S. Marshals Service took him into custody at Palm Beach International Airport. He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on vehicular homicide charges and was scheduled for first appearance Friday.

According to the PBSO crash report, Khytrov was driving a 2017 BMW 320i north on Powerline Road in the outside left turn lane at Palmetto Park Road around 5:10 p.m. on July 2, 2024. Police said he turned left against a red light and pulled in front of a southbound 2018 Acura MDX. The report flags alcohol or drugs for Khytrov.

A passenger in the Acura, Audrey Milk, was taken to Boca Regional Hospital. She died six days later, on July 8, 2024. Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Investigators found Khytrov in Turkey after he left the county and the United States, according to police.

Charges are allegations, and Khytrov is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
