The City of Boynton Beach is monitoring king tide conditions that could cause temporary flooding in low-lying areas across the city. City crews are mobilizing resources to help affected residents, and the Boynton Beach Police Department is watching flood-prone areas and is ready to help with traffic control.

Self-service sandbags became available Sunday, Oct. 25, starting at 2 p.m. at the South parking lot of Harvey E. Oyer Jr. Park, 2010 N. Federal Highway. Residents who need them can pick them up on their own.

City officials urged drivers and pedestrians to avoid standing water and to use alternate routes when roads are flooded. Residents should use caution in low-lying areas.

For flooding concerns or non-emergency help, call the Boynton Beach Police Department’s Non-Emergency Dispatch Line at 561-732-8116. For emergencies, call 911. More updates are posted at boynton-beach.org.
