A multi-car crash on Friday afternoon sent one vehicle through the front window of a Mobil gas station in Deerfield Beach, according to WSVN. Broward Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue units responded to the intersection of East Hillsboro Boulevard and North Federal Highway.
Crews evaluated several people at the scene. One of them was taken to an area hospital for further treatment. Fire crews did not say how seriously that person was hurt, and the patient’s condition was not known at the time of the report.
Video from 7News showed a large hole in one of the store’s window panels. Three cars were involved in the crash, and all of them had been towed from the scene.
The intersection is a busy corridor for drivers heading through the Hillsboro Boulevard and Federal Highway area. Drivers should expect possible delays while the investigation and cleanup continue. WSVN said it would update the story as more details become available.
