The City of Miami is asking residents to prepare for King Tides, the higher-than-normal tides that can cause flooding in low-lying areas.
City officials advise people to avoid walking or driving through floodwater, keep vehicles away from spots that flood easily and stay alert as conditions change.
Residents who see flooding can call 311 or report it through the ISeeChange app. The city says 2026 King Tide dates and additional safety tips are posted at miami.gov/kingtide.
