Visitors to the “Windows to Our World” outdoor mural exhibit at the Botanical Garden in Miramar can now view the artwork through augmented reality. The City of Miramar said visitors need only scan the QR code on each mural to watch the piece animate and learn about the stories and artistry behind it.
The city described the exhibit as a new way to experience art at the Miramar Cultural Center.
Residents also have a chance to hear from city leaders soon. Mayor Wayne Messam will deliver the State of the City Address on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Universal Technical Institute, 2601 SW 145th Ave. The event is free to attend with registration through the city’s Eventbrite page, MiramarSOTC.eventbrite.com.
