The Coconut Creek City Commission will consider an agreement for building safety inspection services at its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, Oct. 22. The contract covers Fire Station 94 and the Government Center Complex. The Public Works Building is excluded.

The same meeting will include a ceremonial check for $550,000 in state appropriations funding. State Rep. Christine Hunschofsky will present the money to the city for its Northeast Utilities Expansion Project.

The project will expand water and wastewater infrastructure north of Hillsboro Boulevard, between Lyons Road and Northwest 39 Avenue. Residents who want the full agenda can find it on the city’s website through a link the city posted on Instagram.
