The City of Miami has opened a new playground at Charlie DeLucca Park, officials said in a social media post on Tuesday.
The city said plans are moving forward for a new jogging course and additional park improvements. The work is part of a $684,000 investment in the community, and the post said residents’ feedback helped shape the plans.
The city credited the Parks and Recreation Department and others involved with bringing the playground project in on time and within budget. The post did not give a completion date for the jogging course or the other improvements.
