The City of Miramar is hosting a Back to School AI Boot Camp for teens ages 13 to 15, with sessions on November 14 and 21 and December 5 and 12. Each day runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ansin Sports Complex, 10801 Miramar Blvd.
The camp was started by Vice Mayor Eddy Ruiz’s office, according to the city’s post. Students build projects themed on Miramar itself. Participants leave with a photo album, a digital comic book they can print or order, and a video. The city called it the first program of its kind in Broward County.
Computers and lunch are provided, and students receive a certificate on completion. Residents pay $25 and non-residents pay $30. Families may qualify for free pricing by calling 954-602-4990.
Registration is through an Eventbrite page linked from the city’s Instagram account. Spots are limited.
