The City of Miramar is hosting a Food & Wine Festival on Friday, Oct. 23, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the lake by City Hall, 2300 Civic Center Place. Admission and parking are free.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and the city describes the event as having a lively cultural atmosphere. Commissioner Maxwell Chambers is inviting residents to attend.
Visitors can also make a $10 donation at the event. The city said all proceeds from Lovedrop donations will go toward helping residents pay utility bills.
People who want to attend can register in advance through the event’s Eventbrite page, MiramarFoodandWine.eventbrite.com, which is linked from the city’s Instagram profile.
