The Deering Estate in Miami will host its 14th annual Vintage Auto Show on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is run with the Antique Automotive Club of America’s South Florida Region.
The show features vintage cars from 1965 and earlier displayed across the estate grounds. Visitors can also take part in a photo-clue scavenger hunt, lawn games and children’s crafts while they walk the property.
Tickets are $14 for adults ages 15 and up and $7 for children ages 4 to 14 if bought by 11:59 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13. Starting Saturday, Nov. 14, prices rise to $18 for adults and $10 for children. Children under four do not need a ticket, and Deering Estate Foundation members can get free tickets with an RSVP. Tickets are limited and must be bought or reserved online in advance.
Guided nature preserve tours are set for 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., and a guided tour of the Richmond Cottage is also offered. Both are first come, first served and require same-day sign-up. The historic house museums will be closed during the event. Guests may bring blankets, lawn chairs and small picnic baskets.
The estate is at 16701 SW 72 Ave. in Miami and is managed by the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department.
