Congregation B’nai Israel in Boca Raton will host a Congressional District 25 forum Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the temple’s VIP Ballroom at 2200 Yamato Road. Incumbent Democrat Jared Moskowitz and Republican Scott Singer are the candidates.

Anthony Man, principal political writer for the South Florida Sun Sentinel, will moderate. Candidates will give timed opening and closing statements and answer a set of predetermined questions, including questions about Israel and antisemitism.

The event is a forum rather than a debate, and there will be no audience questions. Registration has closed and the event is sold out. The temple expects about 350 attendees.

The race is one of the most closely watched contests in South Florida this midterm cycle, and the forum gives voters a direct look at both candidates ahead of Election Day.
