South Florida is settling into a breezier, less humid stretch after a soaking weekend. WSVN meteorologist Erika Delgado said a front brought steady rain from Friday into most of Saturday, then cleared the area Sunday, leaving some sun and a brighter start to the week.

Monday will be windy as high pressure builds in while an old front stalls just south of the region. The Keys can expect more clouds and a few more showers than the mainland, where brief showers are possible at times. High temperatures will reach the mid 80s.

Drier air should lower humidity for a day or two midweek. Morning temperatures will drop into the lower 70s later in the week, and rain chances should stay low for a while.

That changes by the end of the week. Moisture levels will rise, bringing more humidity Thursday and Friday, along with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. The weekend is forecast to be wetter and windy again.
