A North Miami woman is pleading for the return of her 8-month-old toy poodle, Blu, who she says was taken from her home on Thursday.
Aries Wilson told Local 10 News that Blu was in his fenced back yard when he crawled under a small gap in the fence. Video shows the dog in the front yard of the home, near Northwest 128th Terrace and Tenth Avenue, before a dark sedan pulls up. Wilson said a driver wearing a blue vest got out of the car, and when the vehicle drove away, Blu was gone. She said an AirTag in the dog’s collar had been removed.
Wilson said Blu is her support dog and that she needs him. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to his return. She said she is waiting to hear from a detective, and that she will not press charges if whoever took the dog brings him back.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police or Local 10 News.
