The City of Plantation is holding two First-time Homebuyer and Minor Home Repair workshops later this month. The first session is Saturday, Oct. 24, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The second is Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The city said the workshops will cover available grants, the application process, income requirements and the steps involved in buying a home. The post did not list a specific meeting location, so residents should check the registration page for details.
