The Miami Heat waived forward Ezra Ausar, center Kylor Kelley and guards Gabe Madsen and Bez Mbeng on Saturday, the team announced, as it finalizes its roster for the upcoming season.

Ausar signed with the Heat on Thursday but did not play in a preseason game. He averaged 7.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in three Summer League appearances. Kelley, who signed Oct. 8, played two preseason games and recorded six points, two rebounds and one block.

Madsen, also signed Oct. 8, appeared in one preseason game and logged 7 minutes and 49 seconds. Mbeng was claimed off waivers Sept. 22 and had the most production of the group, with 20 points, six assists, five rebounds and three steals in three preseason games.

With the moves, the Heat’s roster stands at 14 players plus three on two-way contracts. The team’s starters may see limited minutes in the final preseason games as the regular season approaches.

Local 10 will carry at least 68 of the Heat’s regular-season games next season under an expanded media rights agreement with the team.
