The III Points music festival takes over Mana Wynwood this weekend, and Miami New Times has put together a list of headliners it considers must-see. The event runs Friday, Oct. 16, and Saturday, Oct. 17, at 2217 NW Fifth Ave. in Miami. Tickets cost $282.96 to $599.00.
The lineup leans heavily on headliners, including Bassvictim, the Ohio rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and British DJ Harvey, who will play a four-hour set on the 444 stage. Flying Lotus is also booked for a four-hour set, and the list includes Hamdi, Honey Dijon, Danish artist ML Buch and Australian group Parcels.
The critic also points to drone metal act SunnO))), Canadian producer Tiga, British trip-hop artist Tricky and Welsh electronic duo Underworld, which the paper says will perform with Karl Hyde on vocals and Rick Smith on equipment.
For South Florida music fans, the festival offers a mix of genres across one weekend, from electronic and house to hip-hop and metal. Set times and stage details are listed on the festival website, iiipoints.com.
