Coral Springs police reported a busy week of crime across the city between Oct. 5 and Oct. 11, 2026, according to a bulletin published by Coral Springs Talk. Police redacted the names and addresses of most victims.

The largest reported loss was a grand theft reported Oct. 9 that occurred between Aug. 1 and Oct. 9, with an estimated loss of $55,600. Another grand theft reported the same day carried an estimated loss of $24,280, and a third reported Oct. 6 was estimated at $50,000. A vehicle theft on Oct. 10 between 1:26 and 2:38 p.m. carried an estimated loss of $45,000.

Police also logged a strong-arm robbery on Oct. 8 near 10:35 a.m., a sudden snatching on Oct. 7 with an estimated loss of $2,500, and an extortion or blackmail case on Oct. 5 with an estimated loss of $10,000. A shooting reported Oct. 8 in the early morning had no additional details in the bulletin.

Retail thefts and shoplifting made up a steady share of the reports, with losses ranging from $32 to $1,719. Several domestic battery and battery cases were also recorded, and police listed a DUI on Oct. 5 at 8161 Wiles Road.

The bulletin included arrests on charges such as domestic battery, DUI, battery, shoplifting and retail theft. Many of the reported thefts involved long time windows, so the dates listed reflect when victims reported them, not always when the crimes happened.
