The City of Tamarac will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 to 11 a.m. to mark the opening of two new businesses along North University Drive.
New Jewelry Exchange and Sunshine State Dry Cleaners are located at 6730 and 6734 N. University Dr. The city said both businesses are officially joining the Tamarac community with the event.
The city is encouraging residents to turn out and support the shops, which are among the newer additions to the area’s local business mix.
