Village of Palm Springs police are asking for help identifying a person seen walking near a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened nearly four months ago. Police said Wednesday that investigators have released additional surveillance footage tied to the June 20 crash in the 4100 block of Lake Worth Road, between Kirk Road and South Military Trail.
Investigators believe the person may have information that could help them determine how the crash happened. Police stressed that the individual is not considered a suspect. They want to know whether the person saw the crash or has information that could help the investigation.
Anyone who recognizes the person, or who has information about the crash, the vehicle or the driver, is asked to contact Officer Fardella at 561-584-8369 or BFardella@vpsfl.org.
