Tamarac Mayor Michelle J. Gomez and other elected officials from Broward County will take part in the Mayors’ Chess Challenge from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd.
The city said players of all ages and skill levels are welcome. The event is free to attend.
