Parkland’s Farmers’ Market opens its new season Sunday, Nov. 1, with produce, baked goods and specialty foods. The free event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Equestrian Center at Temple Park, 8350 Ranch Road.

Opening day carries a public safety theme and will bring together local farmers, food vendors, artisans and small businesses. Baptist Health is the presenting sponsor.

The market runs on the first and third Sundays of each month from November through April. Shoppers can find fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, breads and pastries, along with jams, honey, cheese, fresh pasta and pickles. A food court with several vendors is also part of the lineup, according to the city’s listing.

This season adds a Kidpreneur Marketplace on March 7. The event will showcase entrepreneurs ages 8 to 16 selling art, baked goods and handmade items. Themed markets and seasonal activities are also planned throughout the season.

Residents can find the full vendor list and more details on the City of Parkland’s Farmers’ Market website.
