The City of Miramar is inviting local artists and creatives to an Artist Focus Group on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Miramar Cultural Center, 2400 Civic Center Place. Vice Mayor Eddy is hosting the session.
The city said the discussion is meant to help shape the future of arts and culture in Miramar. Participants can describe their experiences and challenges as local artists, say what resources and opportunities they need to grow, and learn about artist resources already available. Residents who took part in the city’s Cultural Census are encouraged to attend, as are artists who are new to the conversation.
Refreshments will be provided. Attendees must RSVP through the Eventbrite page listed in the city’s Instagram post under MiramarArtists.eventbrite.com.
